First Aid and CPR

CPR, and life-saving first aid.

There are many different types of training in First Aid and CPR. The training you need depends on the type of your type of industry and if you have any specific risk areas. Please feel free to ask us if you are unsure about what training to choose.

Which CPR or First Aid training should I choose?

To start, there are three standard trainings developed by the Swedish Counsil of CPR:

CPR Adult

Acourse that teaches CPR, including the use of defibrillators, and also includes airway obstruction.

This training is suitable for all workplaces that do not have a particular risk area.

CPR children

A course that teaches CPR on children, including the use of defibrillators. The course teaches the technique for infant CPR (0-1 years old), as well as child CPR (1-18 years old). The course also includes airway obstruction.

This training is suitable for establishments that handle children, such as schools and daycares.

First Aid

A course that includes areas of First Aid that are immediately life-threatening, such as severe bleeding, circulatory failure and burns, as well as life-threatening medical conditions such as stroke, heart attack, diabetes, allergies, etc. In addition to specific First Aid topics, it also includes the entire Adult CPR training.

This training is suitable for workplaces that have a risk of injury, as well as those who have previously completed Adult CPR training and want to deepen their knowledge.

Tailored Trainings

In addition to the standardized training programs above, it is common to create a specific training program tailored to a company’s needs. Some examples of common training programs include:

Child Injury

Training that, in addition to CPR children, also includes common injuries such as drowning, bleeding, falls, and poisoning.

This training is suitable for schools and daycares that have already completed CPR children and want to deepen their knowledge.

First Aid with Electrical Injuries

A course that, in addition to standard First Aid training, also covers injuries related to electrical accidents.

This training is suitable for professionals who work with electricity.

Customized First Aid

A course that is tailored to a company’s specific needs. For example, if the company works in an industrial environment, the focus may be on fall injuries, crush injuries, and bleeding. In an office environment, the focus may be on sudden illness.

This training is suitable for any company that wants to deepen their knowledge within First Aid.
